random acts of kindness (cards) x

“Those best parts of a good life: little, nameless,
unremembered acts of kindness and love.”
- William Wordsworth

Being kind to people is a real booster for me. I love seeing people smiling after I've done something for them, even if it's something as simple as just opening a door or picking up something they dropped. Little things that are just basic manners. Basic manners that a lot of people seem to have forgotten, especially in my generation. However, I am proud to be one of them teenagers who will smile at you and wish you to have a good day, because when you smile, it makes me smile on the inside. All of this said, the point of this post was to introduce something I'm super excited about; kindness cards. The wonderful people at
http://wakeupproject.com.au/kindness-cards/  are inspiring people to be a do-gooder, but the catch is, it's all anonymous. They're really promoting the fact that a little act of kindness can literally make someone's year, and spreading the kindness message. All you do is fill in your details on the site, and they will send you a pack of kindness cards completely free! (currently for australian residents only, but are going to start shipping worldwide for a small fee soon!) I ordered mine yesterday and I'm already planning to cheer a few people up, and hopefully they'll pass the cards and kindness vibes on to make someone else's day! On their website they suggest a few anonymous acts of kindness, including paying for someone's coffee, leaving flowers on someone's doorstep and placing chocolates on a work colleague's desk. Think about how much it would warm someone's heart to recieve an anonymous act of kindness, completely out of the blue! So, what are you waiting for? Order some cards and start spreading the happy vibes!

I think this is a beautiful idea, and was in no way paid to promote this wonderful idea, I just wanted to spread the word.
